About Me

I'm Fatih Şahan. I was born and raised in Denizli, Turkey. My future goal is to be an English language teacher. I'm currently an undergraduate student in my second year at Marmara University, ELT department. I have spent 2 and a half years in South Africa, Cape Town right after finishing the high school. Using my time to learn and love language to change my attitude towards English and especially life itself. Back then I realized something I have never thought of or experienced that language learning was not just going someplace surrounded by 4-walls and having an instructor to teach you. I'd have to exceed the giving opportunity and use up all I can get my hands to in a way what technology allow me to use its limits and not repeating my previous teachers' outdated methods. Other than this, I consider myself a tech-lover so I love technology and in my further career, I intend to use it a lot.

Hello everyone, I now announce you that our course has come to its end. This post will be a finale that I won't forget the rest of my teachings. Why? Because this was the first time I shared my efforts and works with everyone. I am happy and sorrow at the same time. I'm happy that I learned so many things that I didn't know and got close to my teaching career. However, it bothers me that the course is no more. But it's life and we move on! It was a course to remember. First, I didn't imagine that we would be doing all these tasks and assignments. Magazine Cover Project: OtakuTR

Hi there! It's me again with another project which is assigned to us by our beloved course instructor. I highlight this because.. well you'll understand why.  I'll be talking about this online poster project and what I've experienced in the process of creating it. The Process of Creating  We have given two options to this project. One is movie poster book report project and the other one is magazine cover project. I have thought for some time to decide which one should I go into. Then I realized that I don't like reading books of any kind so how could I intentionally choose a project related to it. The aim was clear I was gonna create a magazine poster. Fortunately, it was all our choice to decide on the theme of the magazine. As I adore anime, I had to do a magazine cover originated by anime. Today's topic is Digital Storytelling and I'll try to explain it briefly before I talk about the project we did with  Murat Süngünapsan which is a how to project, one of the three options.
